Thank you for your quick responses. I haven't driven the F-450 yet, I plan to go sometime this week. The payloads and two capacity are pretty close to each other, so good point on the turning radius on the Ford. That is something to definitely consider.
Also from what I'v gathered about the Ram 4500, is this only comes in a cab and chassis and I believe the GVWR is over 14K# which would classify as a commercial truck where the Ford F450 has a GVWR or 14K#. It might just come down to which dealer is able to give me a better deal at this time. I priced them both out and MSRP is about same as well.
