Finally got a new TT!

Right before Thanksgiving we finally moved up from our pop-up (which we loved for 12 years) to a new TT! We got the Prime Time Tracer 25' and are so happy! We think we got a good deal of about 30% off list and that was "out the door" including new hitch unit etc. We left it at the dealership until May when we will pick it up and do the walk-through and learn how everything works!

We had to keep it light enough for our truck (Ram 1500) and I am so thrilled with all the storage space, dining room slide and bedroom that a pocket doors to close it off from the living space!

We were pleased too that it had a nice outdoor kitchen with stove, small fridge, sink and storage!

We loved our pop-up but got tied of carting several coolers (small fridge in camper), storage only under seats etc. Also we camp with bears going by and I feel safer not sleeping in canvas walls.

Lots of camping for us this year!

Yeah!

Congrats, We are in almost the exact same scenario, we upgraded to a Jayco Jayflight 29BHS from a pop up the day after Thanksgiving and we are really itching to get out and use it. We only have to wait for 3 cold Michigan months, we already have several trips booked and planned!

I enjoy these forums, a lot of good advice and ideas. Many projects planned.

We usually camp in New York and our favorite parks are Sampson State Park in the Finger Lakes Region, Rollins Pond in the Adirondack State Park, North/South Lake in the Catskills. We also really enjoy Promised Land State Park in northeastern PA and Rocky Neck State Park in southeastern CT.

Can't wait to go camping again! Once I can retire we will do a whole lot more traveling!

Love my outdoor kitchen, worth its weight in gold.

We do most of our camping in NY (we live just a few miles south Binghamton NY area).

VTskier...

We purchased our TT from Alpin Haus RV in Amsterdam which is about an hour from our home. We bought our pop-up there too. We looked at 3 other dealers but felt this floor plan, quality, decor, options and price best suited our needs. Also least pushy salesman!

Just bought ours in November (18th to be exact) Cannot wait to use it already looking for CG's that open in April. Question did you buy from one of the Albany dealers? Just curious we shopped all of them even some in Buffalo NY that carried what we were looking for.

Thanks for all the nice responses. Our pop-up was a Coleman and never leaked or had any canvas issues. We recently started going to more parks with hookups so I know we will really enjoy the new "toys" in our new TT.

CONGRATS!
I too moved from a P-up to a TT at the end of the season pricing.
If you're like me you had the "Basics" for your P-up such as a Potable water hose, extension cords, fire pit accessories, tacky lights, and what-nots but have you thought about all the "new" stuff you'll need?
I am trying to compile a list to aquire over the looooong winter. LINKY. Just for example, all the options for just a sewer hose for Black-water. It's almost mind boggling!
ENJOY!

I hope you enjoy your New TT as often as possible.

We moved from PUP to TT for the convenience and room; especially the closets and pantry, not to mention the bathroom.
