The actual mileage calculated by hand was 10.3. The truck only has 800 miles on it when we started the trip. Also, the 6.4 got 8.1 down this same stretch of rural Georgia road. We had to go through 5 small towns to get there. That also kept the mileage down with the starting and stopping. The DIC showed a close 10.2 mpg. The 6.4 got close to that mileage with my 15.5k 5er too. So I can't wait to see how much I get with the bigger rig and see if the mileage improves as she breaks in.
