First Winter drive on TOYO AT3's

Took my '20 Chevy 3500 DRW to North Dakota for Thanksgiving. Left Idaho snow falling, when I got to Island Park the snow was about 3-4" on the road before the plow hit it, parts were plowed and ice covered. It was slippery, I pulled another pickup out of the ditch east of West Yellowstone. I was totally impressed with how these tires handled the snow and the icy snow packed road. The tires cleaned themselves out in the loose snow. The roads were much the same past Big Sky, until I hit Belgrade. Then I got east of Bismarck, the roads were ice covered until I was about 20 miles out of Jamestown (about 70 miles). They apparently had freezing rain before I hit that part of the drive. Again, truck never lost traction on on glare ice. The tires are pretty new on the market and new to me, so we will see how long they last. However they definitely stick well when they are new. Pretty pleased with them since this is typical driving conditions for at least 6 months of the year here. Pleased with the pickup, it was a 2K mile round trip. MPG wasn't great, averaged 15 MPG according to the DIC. I had a 30 mpg headwind on the way back until I hit Miles City, that didn't help. Hopefully that improves some after its broke in. It was comfortable, seats felt good even after 13 hours.
