we just bought about 3 months ago a 2005 Fleetwood t/t, its a 27' with a super slide. its absolutely in perfect condition, and just right for us. it was stored inside a heated shop up until a year ago. the only problem is that the slide skin has some bubbles on it. the previous owner said it was caused by expansion. the bumps do almost go away when it gets cold around 40 deg. at 70 you can see them easily. they run up and down at each end of the slide and in the mid section were the dinette is attached. I don't see any water damage anywhere inside or in the storage compartments in the slide. it doesn't effect the trailer in any way, but i'm a nitpicker and its starting to bother me. what I would like to know is there any way to fix this? I could pull the windows and storage covers then take the skin off. has anyone done this how easy is it to get the skin off. its a fiberglass type material bonded to a 2" foam board I believe it has a 1/8 wood panel between the foam and the outer skin. any suggestions would be great.
