- dewey02Explorer IIThis came standard on my 2012 StarCraft.
It is convenient, but mostly just because you don't necessarily have to cart around a wood block to place under the jack. I have a manual jack, but the Flipjack does hang up every now and then and has to be manually pushed to the 90 degree position when retracting. I could see how it could cause problems with a power jack.
I'm OK with having and using it, but I wouldn't go out and buy one if I didn't have it. - LspanglerExplorerI use it with my Propride hitch. No issues with the W/D bars but you have to stop raising it just short of fully up so it doesn't hit the yolk tail
I find it to be very stable and easy to use
Linc - 1L243Explorer III added a 1/2" metal spacer. I put the spacer on before the large 2" washer spacer. The Jack retracts fine noww. Don't know why my electric jack is different than most but it's working fine after adding the extra spacer..
- 1L243Explorer III added an additonal 1/2" temporary spacer at the top where the 1/8" 2" spacer goes and now it works perfectly, tucks away real nice. I don't know if I actually need 1/2" that is just the material I had. Now I have to get some additional 1/8" x 2" spacers (washer) I am sure they are not going to be easy to find..
- jcgib81ExplorerI have had one for the last 3 years. I love it. I would not say it's shakey, and I have been to several sites that I had to use it in the kneeling position . Basically it folds to 90 degrees and sits like that not extended.
I would definitely buy another one. One recommendation to the company would be to powder coat it instead of painting it. - bstar1952ExplorerI chose the Husky Super Foot over the Flipjack. Think it's a little more sturdy and does a better job. Just MHO....
- 1L243Explorer III'm installing one right now and having a problem. When my electric jack retracts a worm gear inside the tube screws down. The worm gear hits the half inch bolt of the Flip Jack before it fully retracts and sets. I followed install instructions and used drill template. I may try adding additonal 2" spacer washers If I can find them to see if that helps..
- JohnG4706ExplorerI have a ProPride hitch and concerned that the FlipJack will clear the W/D bars. Anyone with either the ProPride or Hensley, would appreciate your comments.
- VTRExplorerJust installed one and threw the cylinder block over by the fence. I think it is going to be real nice to have this coming spring. Install was easy, works as advertised. In most cases I will not be using any thing to put under it.
- BillB800siExplorerI had it for a couple of years. Wouldn't buy another though.
It extends by use of gravity (could hang up).
You have to be sure it has "locked" itself before raising the tongue.
It allows more movement (not a stable as a block of wood).
Just my experience...
