Floorplan where sofa is facing the TV?

Can't find one. We are looking for a floorplan that fits our couch potato lifestyle, either a travel trailer or park model (with tanks). A fiver would be OK, but prefer the TT. Most of the floorplans have the sofa at a marked angle to the TV, most often even a right angle. I did find one thread from 2013 where they made their own L-shaped sofa, which is maybe what we'll need to do. Oh, also need it to be a bunkhouse with the extra 1/2 bath. I know, not asking for TOO much...
It's going to get left on a permanent site in Minnesota for summers.
  • Instead of trying to roll it all into one package, why not get the best and needed features you want like the 1/2 bath and bunkhouse and modify to get the rest? There shouldn't be too much problem of ordering a new couch and relocating a TV for a better viewing angle.

know what you mean, that's why we loved our Jay Flight 19BH. When it got hail damaged, it was time to upgrade but didn't want to give up the things we loved about that floorplan. So we didn't, we just added a front queen bedroom to that 19BH floorplan with another Jay Flight, but the 26BH.

We looked at the sofa slide out Jay Flight 28BHS, but didn't car for the flooplan where the sofa was across from the dinette. Those always seemed cramped to us. BUT the TV does have a swing out arm mount so that it can face the sofa straight on. They did do away with the 28BHS this year on the Jay Flight model, but you can find it in a super stripped Jay Flight Swift model I believe, it you can handle losing bedroom dresser for shelves, and the like (we wouldn't).

I recently looked at several Jay flight models with superslide. Unfortunately these models only have love seats and not sofas. The TVs on the wall usually do swivel so that they can face the living room or the bedroom. The problem is even with them swiveled, it's never straight on plus the love seat position closest to the wall, can not see the swiveled TV. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the room if it can't be used for watching TV or anything. I would never buy one of those models just for that reason. STUPID!! Plus I couldn't fit behind the U dinette table and I'm not an obese guy. Far as I see it, Jay Flight's Superslide models are none functional!!

    Good luck on your hunt.
  • Our Coachmen RLS250 has sofa across rear and TV on back side of the bath facing directly toward the rear of the unit. TV is mounted so that it can be swiveled toward the slide dinette if desired.
  • My friend just bought the wildcat maxx 5th wheel 317rl and it has a sofa directly in front of his 50 inch led TV, it also has two recliners on the side. He put the sofa where the recliners were so he can just lounge.
  • Love everything about the Venture Sporttrek 327VIK except the missing 1/2 bath. And the price. Need under 25K or used.

Couldn't find any Winnebago bunkhouse TT or 5W without an angled view of the TV.

There's no rush, have til next spring.
  • Bath and a half is quite rare in a TT. How does this floorplan look? Venture Sporttrek 327VIK.

There are several variations on this one too, Outback 325BH:
