- mosseaterExplorer IIThey sell mattresses with built in pumps. They'd probably retrofit just fine and a queen sells for about $50.
- KE6IRJExplorerI wish I was so lucky.
- lizzieExplorerI have been closely following this topic because we have never used our inflatable mattress/sofa. When we bought the TT, over two years ago, we unfolded it, saw the bag and the hand pump and decided NO WAY. After reading mosseater's post above, I went out to the TT and took another look. I found the plug in pump and had the whole thing ready in 5 minutes. Thank you so much!! lizzie
- mosseaterExplorer IIOurs if a Flair brand sofa/bed, and we couldn't be happier with it. We use it a lot and the only complaint I see is the squeaky noise it makes when moving around on it. I don't know how other's can be "complicated", ours had the pump built into the mattress. Fold out bed, turn switch, shut off when full. In the morning, reverse the procedure and you're done. It takes about 3 mins to set up and put away.
- Duane4238ExplorerI have a pump for my sofa's air mattress, but found that you could fill it up in half the time with a small shop vacuum. I bought one for $29 at Ace Hardware. Hook up the vacuum hose to the air outlet (blower) side on the vacuum. Only takes a minute or so to fill'r up!
Duane - KE6IRJExplorerWe checked it out again and even though it seems factory, I think the velcro holding it on is not and is an after market one. The cap broke anyway when I tried it, so our it goes.
So now we will replace it with a pump and be good to go. - KE6IRJExplorerOkay, so I searched in the camper again, even took the front of the sofa off since it was velcro. Nothing was there.

Did you buy the trailer new?? If so, go back to the dealer, they should have shown you how to use it during the PPI.
If you bought it used, ask the PO or dealer you go it from where the air mattress pump is.
I bought it used. I tried calling dealers but our 3 dealers don't sell Keystone so they all said they wish they could help but had no idea. I called all 3. - Community Alumni

One of my camping buddies took out the air mattress portion and replaced it with a high density 3" memory foam. It folded back well and was more comfortable than the air bladder.. - ktmrfsExplorer II
