Folding Caravans / Pennine Artemis?

I just came across this on youtube. Anyone heard of it before?

It's a hard side folding camper. It seems to work like an a-frame, but has a full roof like a popup. It opens up - not out like a popup or trailmanor.

It's not the most attractive thing I've seen, but I don't think there are any US manufacturers with a similar design yet...

Thanks for the suggestion, beemerphile.
We have looked at both with some concerns and personal preferences.

For our wants/needs Hi Lo seems risky for "off the road" adventures. Have seen and heard about scraping the the underside/bottom in decent off road terrain in some models and that was enough to take it off the list for us. We have no plans for driving through very rugged area's (requiring an off road unit) but want some flexibility without the worry.
Trailmanor is in the back of our minds as an option. Not aware of scaping issues with this unit. Personal preferences put this unit behind the Chalet unit with Dormer Bath. With that said, we have not seen any of these units (new) in person and know that could be a game changer.
With all of the great advice and help from this Forum, we have been able to narrow down what is most imortant to us. In any case, these units have a higher than anticipated cost and has delayed our purchase.

These are great, thanks for posting.

We are searching for a low profile, hard sided folding pop up with an enclosed full bathroom being the key unique item missing from most small hard sided folding pop up units we have seen (Chalet is the only unit we have found to provide this option).

For us, a combination of small unit for 2 adults, flexibility to go where we prefer (small parks/natural settings) and economy towing are tops on our list of priorities. We have no plan to RV full time but will do long distance trips.

We have decided to wait to purchase with the hopes we can get closer to meeting our preferences. Chalet has a unit we like but price tag higher than we would like. Quality and features appear to make it worth the wait but have not seen one in person yet. Chalet is not sold on the east coast, we live in MD.
In a perfect world...

Looking for basics in compact folding unit. Prior to this, Chalet was the only model I had seen with anything close. One end Dormer option for bathroom or kitchen

Mighty common in Australia for smaller TT's

This got me curious so I dug around. Here is a photo of one of the Sun Lite Popups (or as they are called in Australia a "pop top":

I found several of this style online, the newest from about 2002.

Didn't Sunlite make something like this? I vaguely remember walking through one at an RV show. Very nice on the inside, much like today's high wall trailers but the roof went straight up.

The only "pop up" that I am aware of by Sun-lite still had canvas for the part that pops up, not a folding hard wall.

More info at this site.

They may have had other configurations. I've just not seen them.

I know. But the OP was wondering about US manufacturers of similar design. I just pointed him to the only one I was aware of.

I never noticed those before.

Why would one choose an a-frame with limited headroom when you can get a folding caravan with a full height roof then? They didn't catch on?
