Sounds pretty good! As long as he earned it legally and without government assistance than what do you care if he can "justify" it or not? As I said before, some like to spend it on a bigger RV or more more bells and whistles with a nicer trim option while others may want to spend it on a more powerful engine option.

I also do not try to control what others do, that I have zero control over, and isn't hurting anyone.
It is a philosophy that I highly recommend for stress free life.
This place is full of people that love to complain about what others do.
His diesel truck is too loud. His lights are too bright. His generator is too loud. etc. etc.
I will continue to do what I want within the rules. And I guess you will continue to complain about it.
