I would say I've owned my '12 2.5 years and have 55k miles and not a glitch.
Best truck to date! It's a jewel of a truck.
BTW... It's good to see the number one selling truck being produced in America by an American company. :C
Oh and on another topic the wife finally decided on what new vehicle she liked the best and we purchased it last week.
The short list:
1. Grand Cherokee
2. Explorer Sport
3. Edge Sport
And after test driving all these vehicles she decided on another Edge but this time in a Sport model with 305HP. It's a jewel! :C- 8ironExplorer

Please don't confuse Cummins98 with facts... He probably won't sleep tonight. :R- Jayco254ExplorerI used to drive nothing but Dodges until I started figuring my expenses and down time. Now I'm driving a Ford maybe not a pu it's still a Ford. But my wife still drives the Dodge too much of a hard headed Dutchman to change even when the were costing us a fortune too keep running. Drove Dodges for 50 yrs. before I got smart.
- rexlionExplorerI suppose sales figures are important to "jump on the bandwagon" buyers. Personally I'd buy a vehicle that only moves 2,000/year if I think it meets my needs better than anything else.
- jus2shyExplorerRAM has certainly had a resurgence in the truck market thanks to a vastly improved truck. However, Ford's slack in sales is probably due to manufacturing capacity. About 1/3rd of their F-150 capacity is gone right now as Dearborn is being retrofitted. They will lose 2/3rds capacity when they retrofit KTP. So expect down percentages for the time being. However, the real telling story will be 3 to 6 months after KTP's retrofit when they're back to producing like normal.
However, if I were GM, I'd be concerned that my all new line-up isn't averaging any gains similar to RAM. Don't remember where I read it, but a majority of RAM's sales have been conquest sales. That's why they've increased so much market. Seems like GM's sales are more or less keeping with its customer base. With sales barely at double digit growth, I would be trying to figure out how to be more inventive and get more people to look at my product. - BedlamModeratorI just bought a Ram 5500 over the Ford F550. The pricing wasn't close enough when I compared evenly configured trucks. Had Ford been more competitive, I would have had another Ford since it edged out the Ram in my subjective preferences.
- buddyIamExplorerBedlam,
What Cab to axle did you get? How is the ride. The overall length of my trailer is much less than your. Did you have any problems adjusting to the trailer camper combination when you first went to that type of set up.
With that type of set up I imagine It's not hard to get to 26,000 lbs. I understand that RV's aren't limited to 26,000 lbs for class c licence. Have you found that to be true?
