According to the Ford BB site 2019 Super Duty Weights are: moon roof twin panel crew cab: 35# on the front axle, 64# total. Moon Roof power slide 20# Front axle, 36# Total.

How about drivers seats pretty much always wear out before the vehicle does, regardless of fabric type and the rest of the seats typically will outlast the vehicle if even relatively well kept.

No, typical car seat fabric will not out last leather.

I’ve got still-super-nice leather in my ‘99.
When I do wear it significantly, or if I buy one without, I’ll put in Katzkins leather.
That’s great stuff and doesn’t cost thousands. Seems like they’ve always got their upholstery on sale.

When you can get lucky to quality leather and with proper care have it lasting, the fabric will always outlast it hands down, while saving you money on option when possible.

KT1, if there was "paint" peeling you had Pleather (plastic imitation leather)that was de-laminating not real leather seats

I have had adaptive cruise in my last two fords. It is now a must have for me in the want category. Same with heated and cooled seats. That means spending more. A Lariat with my options will list in the mid 70's. A platinum can be configured without the moon roof as well for a few thousand more, but I am still thinking non massage seats are more comfortable than with.

I take it that question was more hipotecial having not only weight, but also spending money for something you don't need in mind.
I build my truck and have it precisely the way I need it, for less than $60k.
Now I see trucks on dealer lots with $120,000 MSRP.
They have lot of gadgets that probably will never be used in their lives.
Typical leather, who is multi-thousands dollars option.
Leather has only few years before it wears and paint start peeling off.
Years ago we opted for cloths in ordered cars and cloths last 15 years in very good condition, occasionally only needing cleaning. Way cooler for your back as well, but try to order Lariat with cloth
