Ford vs Ram vs Chevy diesels

well first off the trailers GVWR was 12K, who knows if they had it loaded to that amount and secondly why was the ford towing a montana and the others towing a crusader? shouldn't the all tow the same trailer for more accurate results?

All this who is better junk is meaningless no matter who "wins". All the trucks are so close in all aspects that the only thing that matters is which one "you" like best.

When we brought ours TV I wanted the Ram-cheapest DW didn't like the interior
DW liked the Chevy but at E-O-Y clearance they only had "Black" and I'm too lazy to keep one clean so we got the Ford, "Polar White".

That's it I'm not buying one of those RAM trucks now they have changed engines:

So it means that they are all the same in this area of their performance. Diesels all provide a great deal of power. What counts is the performance and reliability and durability of the engine, its various systems (electrical, cooling, emissions controls, suspension, AC, etc.), the strength of the frame, rust proofing, quality control overall.

Even for towing the testing that has covered aspects such as the coordination of the engine, exhaust brake, and transmission operation are more relevant to actually using a truck for towing a heavy load. This is an area where there have been big differences in performance in past years between the 3 companies' 1-ton pickup trucks.

I would hope that anyone buying a vehicle for serious towing would not be seduced by marketing hype though others like the OP are going to get sucked in.

Lol. :B One video and I'm powerless. My Hemi is up for sale at a loss because there's something I saw on YouTube that might be 10 sec faster over 3 miles. You got me all figured out....

How do they perform at braking? Anyone can go. Exhaust brake is very handy.
