I'd like something removable, and the non-funnel opening will support a hose with the vinyl tube adapter on it so I can walk around and inspect the camper while it fills.
Ideas? Hooks, hangers, adapters?
I am open to replacing the entire water fill door- for the right one ๐
Thanks!

It really saved me when the fill hose barely reached. The elbow meant the hose could hang in the air between the faucet and the fill.

Funnel parts
Finished product
The funnel mainly gets used when I'm filling the fresh water tank with portable containers. Just another idea to add to the suggestion box maybe.

If I need to fill from my 5 gallon water jug, I just use a regular automotive funnel that fits in the inlet and lift up the 5 gallon jug and pour it in. Of course, the funnel is clean and not used to change the oil in my truck!, ha, ha! ๐
Good luck!

I added an extra valve or two to my rv antifreeze intake so I can use my on board water pump to fill through a 25 foot hose. The other end of the hose I put in a 7 gallon jug of fresh water.
I leave the 7 gallon water jug on my wagon or truck bed and let the pump transfer the water.
If you buy two additional rv antifreeze kits you should have enough parts to do this.

That's an interesting idea!
How does the pump like straight bleach for sanitizing?
You could dilute the bleach first--just measure out the amount you want in a quart jar and add some water. In any case, the bleach will be rinsed out of the pump quickly. There shouldn't be a problem.

I use a funnel that came with about a 15" hose attached. This works great to add a couple gallons of water with bleach in it.
I use a spare 12V pump with several feet of hose on inlet/outlet, to transfer water from 6 gal jugs when needed. I use a 12V jump pack to power it. Works great!!

Have no idea if or how well this would work. can't tell how big the opening is to pour and it looks like you would have to lift up a lid...
I looked at something like that, but I think it would interfere with using the vinyl tubing when it has to make a sharp turn into the spout.

The water hose wants to fall out of my fresh water inlet unless I hold it in place, so I attach my hose to the door handle (my fresh inlet is near the door) using a mini-bungies.
Might end up with something like that, but with a hook of some sort that could be used with the fill hose and a funnel?

I'm betting some folks (maybe extended boondockers?) have some interesting methods of filling the tanks with funnels, holders, clips, etc?
