who has a fuel tank/toolbox combo in their truck bed? I want one that sits below the bed rails. Also has to be room for the fifth wheel hitch.

I don't want to plumb it into the truck but have a 12V pump.

Thanks

I have an 80 gallon above rail and the hose folds into the bed. There is a B&W Companion hitch behind the tank. I installed the nozzle to the drivers side and fuel from it, fresh fuel goes in the tank so it's rotated. I changed the pictured Fil-Rite pump to a GPI pump after two Fil-Rites failed.

The truck I have on order has the camera that is used to hitch up the fiver or gooseneck. I have to make sure whatever I put back there doesn't block the view of the camera

Nor sure where that mounts, I lost my rear view with the RV tailgate. I do have a white stripe in the middle of the tank and another on the pin box of my 5W. Line them up backing under, I do get out to check height just before hooking.

Camera is in the third brake light. I currently use one of those magnetic telescoping poles with the yellow ball on it. Since I am paying good money for the 5 camera system I need to make sure I don't block it's view.
I will take a look at the tanks mentioned. Thanks

Beaker when you keep the tank for a long time it's not a bad price per year. I've had my Transfer Flow for 17 years and 2 trucks

I have had the Transfer Flow 40 gallon combo with autofill for over 10 years.
Pricey but I would do again without thinking. Totally a different world not thinking about finding a gas station every 200 miles!

My HighwayProducts bed height 30" front to back toolbox does NOT hinder my B&W hitch visibility using the cab mounted backup camera. I really don't like using it, I simply removed my center head rest and look in the rearview mirror to hitch.

I was in Northern Tool looking at the RDS tanks when a customer came in to buy the toolbox/ fuel combo. Said it was his second one for a second truck. Told me he’d had the first one four years with no leaks or complaints.

Simple shaker siphon works great for me. Cheap and easy. Been using for 2 years now.

If you don't want to plumb it into the truck, how will you get the fuel from the pump to the fuel tank? Finding a place to put the fuel nozzle could be an issue if you don't want anything to protrude above the bed rails. As well as finding a place to install the pump, they are not small.

Yes the hose will be an issue. I have a transfer tank and that hose is always in the way on the bed with my 12v pump. I stopped using it, and now put it into a different use.

WOW, where is the tool box? Looks like a nice quality setup but that is a very small tool box.

Same price you can install a TITAN replacement tank.

Yes, the toolbox is only about 6" deep. I will look into a Titan tank

Don't forget with that tank you'll be adding well over 500 lbs. to the bed of the truck when the tank is full. Plus whatever tools and such will be in the box.
