No spider. I took the cover off and did a better inspection. It sparks but, does not light even though there is gas there. The only other thing I can think of is that maybe the probe the spark comes out of is too close to the burner so that the spark is too small and won't light the gas. I thought I read one time somewhere that it is suppose to be a certain distance from the burner. Does anyone know what this distance might be?
