Lantley, time to turn off the internet for a bit, it’s getting your blood pressure up. OP is asking about a brand new dually and you go off on some rant about not buying enough truck for the job....
Give it a rest, bud.
Maybe some cannot comprehend more that one sentence at a time.
I understand the OP has a Dually. However he has a short bed dually and does not want to use a slider. What good is the dually capacity if the trailer hits the cab.
The OP ask about the puck factor in tight turns? Without a slider there will be a pucker factor.
Here's the rant:
Once again instead of getting the right truck with all the right equipment we are debating a questionable combo without all of the right equipment.
You can pucker and cross your fingers or you can get the right equipment.
As mentioned in a prior post, cab contact continues, none of those people that suffered through the cab damaged intended for the contact to happen. They all thought they were being careful enough. They all thought they did not need a slider.
The truth is they were all careful enough until they were not careful enough.
