Can anyone tell me if you can parallel a Honda 1000 with a Honda 2000?

I do have a hybrid inverter/charger by Magnum that does "load support" for starting the roof air. It will accomplish what you want to do.
I don't think using an "ordinary" inverter would work too well--you might end up with a dead inverter, and a dead generator inverter, as there is no "sync" cable.
