getting keys made

So my camper that I just bought 2000 prowler only came with one set of keys.... has anyone ever had keys made if so where? Am I going to have to go to a rv parts store? Here is what my keys look like

F.I.C. key blank. Few Ace or Lowes will have. Most locksmiths will.

Most RV dealers can get the keys for you with just the number shown on the key. As said, there are just a limited number of keys for RV's - surprising how many of the campers right near you will have keys that will open your camper. CW is the obvious, but likely pricier. You might call the manufacturer and see if they can give you the contact for the locks/keys company. The number is usually all they need.

Ace hardware will have blanks and cut them for $1.50 each.

1. There are ebay sellers who carry several brands of blanks. Some sell blanks only. Some sell cut keys. You supply them with brand and key number, they cut and ship keys.

2. Some local locksmiths, some Ace hardware stores, and some big box stores.

Biggest problem is finding a local store, who carry the blanks. While shopping around, ask about bringing in your own blanks. There are some stores who, cut keys free, but only if you buy blanks from them. They have no SKU number to charge for cutting only.

Got three extra keys similar to that made at local locksmith. Big box stores and hardware stores did not have them.

Lowes has a pretty big selection of blanks and may be able to help. If not, I would try camping world.

You can order them from Fastec Industires, the makers of most RV keys. They are about $3.50 each, so it's not like it's expensive.

I ordered 5 of them for my last TT and they were at my house in about a week.

Ours look very similar to your. Got extra sets made at a local locksmith.
