Getting ready to retire and the wife has been dropping hints about getting back into RVing. We used have a Cougar 304BHS and loved it. I'm not sure if I want to do a TT or Fiver. Looked around a little bit and OMG they are as proud for their RV's and the vehicle manufactures are. Any manufactures we should stay away from? Like Keystone products but I'm not married to them. hey all well The wife Myself and furbaby finished our trip and arrived back in Tucson at the end of September it was a great trip and the adventure trailer i built did great . my sister called me up and said hey meet me at this address we had just unhitched at a campsite  so said ok and we left to meet her  long story short  she had put a hold on a 22 ft TT and purchased it for me  so now we are less cramped and have some luxuries the other trailer didnt  its a 1986 22 ft layton by skyline and was really well taken care of  all appliances work plumbing was all replaced with pex new hot water heater ,water pump, fresh water tank ,grey and black tanks no leaks . comfort heater new and the dometic rm2500 works on propane and electric  not to say it doesn't have some issues but not expensive ones  pictures to follow need to get them from phone   ... I want to convert the slide out sleeper couch into a twin love seat wall hugger recliners - Problem is the slide out gears are under the couch and a normal RV recliners will not fit over the box protecting the gears. Do they make a modified recliner for the slide out. 62" wide area. If anyone has done this or know where I could find this please let me know. Hey there, so I am in the planning stages of transitioning into basically full time RV life. I live on the east coast with my cat, and my family lives on the west coast, so I want to be able to travel back and forth. I work remotely and want to see things and go places before I settle down. What do you think is a good TT for full-time RV life that is safe for a solo female and her cat? I am really concerned about the quality of some of the TTs that I have looked at, as well as their ability to holdup while I scamper about.
