Going Long Island NY to Stevens PA with Travel Trailer
Any one familiar with a route I can safely & legally take with a 20ft travel trailer hooked up to my truck?

I would prefer the Throgs Neck to the Whitestone, the lanes are wider. Plus if you are coming from the east, the Clearview gets you off the Expressway sooner than the Van Wyck.
If you go that way (either the Throgs or the Whitestone) then take 80 to 287 and drop down to 78 that way.
