Got rid of mildew stains
Today's job was cleaning the camper. Ever since we bought it a year ago, there were some mildew stains on the inside of the pop-up vinyl in the cabover area; plus one corner on the outside of the vinyl. Maybe it was just my imagination, but I thought it looked worse as we camped.... with the 4 of us breathing more moisture into the interior....
Earlier this summer, we were going to sell our old pontoon boat, which had some serious mildew stains. I ordered a spray product called Zumildew, made by Zep, from Amazon; and to my delight, it cleaned that old boat up to where it looked like new, with NO scrubbing.
I still had a little bit left in the bottle, so thought "why not try it on the camper?". Sure enough, I sprayed the mildew (inside and out), waited a few minutes.... and it was gone. Seriously gone.
I have no ties to Zep. Just wanted to pass along a heckuva great product for getting rid of mildew stains. It has a strong chlorine smell, so I'd be careful using it on colored items (but the blue-and-white checkered towel I had used to wipe down the pontoon furniture after being sprayed, never faded)
