A couple years back we were camping a holiday weekend a CG. The days leading up to the weekend were sunny and no wind. The majority of the weekend was the same. The last morning, the morning that the majority of the people were packing up, the wind picked up. A few sites up wind of me a couple was packing things up early in the morning.
I guess they got everything out of the tent, pulled their stakes and had their backs turned on the tent when mother nature smiled and relocated their tent for them. My antenna caught it. So after a ruined tent, a ruined antenna and a thousand apologies, I realized that nature has a sense of humor.
I was catching all kinds of******from my buddies who were still in tents....... saying things like, "Oh I feel bad for you, someone came along and ruined your ability to watch TV by ruining their tent." They kept telling me that I was at fault and owe those poor people a new tent......
