The event is the TCA (Train Collectors Association)Semi Annual Eastern Division Meet.
it is the largest electric train meet in the free world and is attended by people from all over the country and some folks come in from the UK and other places in the world.
The event takes place twice a year in April and October.I have been going since the day after my 25th birthday and I just turned 52 and I only have missed 5 meets in the last 27 years (but never more than 2 in a year)like one time in October of 1992 my daughter was born so I couldn't go to that one...but it was worth it LOL ....she graduates from college in 3 weeks !
The event is HUGE and it takes a day and a half to get through it and you need another day and a half to go back and buy the things you looked at and decided to buy...and that is if the item is still there.
I have been collecting trains for 31 years and should have done the TC thing years ago
This is my basement...
Now that I have a TC I have more money for trains...because I need to buy more !!!
