Looks like he parked a little too close to the camp fire.

More like they’re lucky to be alive, a friend was awoken by pounding on the door looked out his window and his back yard fence and trees were in flames.

Because they are pretty and smell nice.... :/ The way those things burn is crazy. People are so out of touch with reality, they think if there is a wildfire, they just dial 911 and a dozen fire engines will be there in 5 minutes to protect their house.

The paint doesn't seem to be bubbled. ??????

I understand the railroads brought them in to grow railroad ties. Turned into a bust because the wood twists as it drys and ages. They were also used as a wind break to prevent citrus from freezing. Yes they burn hot and fast.

Good body shop will buff that right out!

There really aren’t many Eucalyptus around here. Mostly Oaks and Redwoods, 50- 100 year wind event (some weather stations a few miles from the source recorded 75 - 95 mph) is what started it and had it moving so fast. It was moving about 2-3 miles an hour in the rural areas and once it hit neighborhoods, jumped house to house really quick.
