Hallmark Guanella refrigerator issue

Have 2016 Hallmark Guanella pop-up camper with Dometic RM2354 refrigerator. The fridge is equipped with an auto energy selector system that automatically selects the most suitable energy source available 120VAC or LP gas. The fridge works great when AC or DC but on most recent outing stopped cooling when in the gas mode even though pilot light is on and there is plenty of LP gas in tank. Also fridge stays on gas mode when driving when it should switch to battery which it did previously. Don't have any expertise when it comes to electrical matters. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
  • In 'Auto' fridge selects between 120V AC power and LP GAS with 120V AC having PRIORITY.
No AC fridge controls swap to LP....swaps back to AC when it becomes available

LP GAS Mode can be manually selected....no auto swapping when used in manual mode.

DC Mode has to be manually selected.....NO auto swapping to or from it
(DC Mode HAS to be OFF for Auto Mode or LP GAS Manual Mode to function)

The DC mode overrides all the other operating modes.
Discharging of the battery will occur if the vehicle engine is not running.
    Note:
The DC mode is a holding mode not a full cooling mode.
DC should be used once the unit is cooled down and constant supply of DC available (driving down the road).

    Limp Modes
    1) Loss of display module...fridge THEN will select AC, then DC then GAS Mode (in that order) until display module becomes functional.
Temps will be maintained at MID position
ONLY time FULL AUTO Select will occur
    2) Loss of temp sensing .....fridge will run continuously on energy source SELECTED until temp sensing issue fixed.

    Install/Ops Manual...pg. 12 maintenance

Fridge NEEDS a good source of 12V DC Power to function using 120V AC, LP GAS or DC MODE......fridge control/circuit board etc.

    AC Mode cools OK
    DC Mode maintains OK
    LP GAS NOT cooling........
Burner slots may be dirty/obstructed, LP Gas System pressure could be low (hows stove top flames/water heater?), flue/flue spiral baffle could be sooted up
How good is the MAIN Flame....(no pilot flame used)----is it strong blue flame that just reaches inside bottom of flue opening (centered)????

    Flame look like that^^^
If not....low system pressure (LP Regulator) or burner needs cleaning
  • in refrigerators this new, I don't think there is a pilot light (but I could be wrong). The flame is on or off. that little flame you see is the actual fire that makes it work.
