We've been to Lake Powell 4 times with 3 different boats. Two of those trips all the way from Georgia. Our first trip was in an 18 foot open aluminum Gregor Sea Hawk powered by two Honda BF100s (which are in fact a propshaft rated engine with 8hp). This was in the middle 1980s. Then the second boat was an 18 foot Deckboat powered by two Honda BF90s in the middle 1990s. Then our most recent trip about 8 years ago was in a 15 foot Zodiac RIB powered by a Honda BF75. This boat had a top speed of 44 mph and could cruise at 30 mph for two days on a tank of fuel. We covered about 250 miles a day using Bull Frog as our base. This particular adventure was documented on our channel in a Playlist called Lake Powell all shot at the end of September .....
