Has anyone launched a small boat at Lake Powell
Any info on the type of boat trailed there or use of a Porta boat or an inflatable on the Lake. Where did you stay and/or launch and how was the lake conditions.... wind & waves

I guess by now my replies show how fascinated I am with Lake Powell, but this truly is body of water that you won't see anywhere else in the World, or very likely in Universe.
I've seen lot of lakes in my life, scuba in famous Boden Zee as well Lake Tahoe and that was disappointment.
For 20 years I was trying to gather my California friends to rent big houseboat and spend whole week on Lake Powell.
That would be great as those 100' + houseboat come with 4 bedrooms, generators, bathrooms, huge holding tanks, water slides, sundecks and more.
That did not work for me as my friend were always "too busy working to become millionaires" what made me taking my family there with Cabin Cruiser.
But if you can gather big party, that would share houseboat rental, you are for vacations of your life.
Again, the best part of the lake is too far from marina for 1-day trip, so you need something you can sleep on.
