Hello.....Introducing ourselves
Hi! We decided we needed to finally say Hello to all of you here! We (DH=Tim & DW=Cheri) have been 'lurking' for awhile now and greatly enjoying the info, topics, comments, bantering, etc. that is shared here! Thanks!
I wanted to reply to a post I saw in TT forum and in order to do so we had to register, so here we are! We are NOT new to camping.... while neither of us / our families camped while growing up we started tent camping back in 1973....the year after we got married! Tented for 19 years so our DD and DS learned early on about camping. Then in 1992 we bought a new Jayco pop up and used that for 20 years! Served us well and with good care it is still in good shape! That PUP traveled all over with us. Last year we passed it on to our daughter and son-in-law to enjoy with their two kids...ages 7 and 5! Last spring, in anticipation of retirement (hopefully next year) and having more time to enjoy travel and the great outdoors we bought a travel trailer. Besides, our aging backs need a bit more comfort! lol We put the TT to good use last year and have several outings planned within the state for this year. We especially enjoy our state parks! Kids and grands will be using the PUP and joining us for some of those outings! Fun times.....lots of memories and now a whole new generation enjoying camping! Over the years we have visited 46 states....only four more to go. Once DH can retire we will have the time to revisit some of those states and get to the 4 that we have not yet been to. Thanks much for all the helpful info and camaraderie. Hopefully we can contribute and repay some of what we've gleaned from this forum! Safe travels and Godspeed! Hopefully we set up the signature line correctly!
