I am in a tt with a broke camper. There is power to the camper. The microwaves and mini fridge works. Th outlets work. But there's no a.c. and there no lights. For the lights to work it'll only work off the battery. It's 3 a.m. and I'm trying to fix this before the kids awake. Any ideas?

Go pickup a battery charger, a fairly large one to get by until you can get a new converter!

He said microwave and mini fridge is on and working, so must have shore power.

If no 12v then likely the converter is bad.

X2 - likely converter died and won't keep the battery charged. 12V is often required for AC control, too. Start by checking the circuit breaker for the converter. It that's tripped, the converter will be off-line.

Check circuit breakers first.

Your converter produces 12V power when 120V is fed to it. If your lights are bright, the converter is probably OK. You should have a 120V breaker panel. Turn off all circuit breakers and flip back on. Make sure your water heater is not being powered by 120V. Turn it off if it is an electric water heater.

Good luck, more members can help if you list the make and year of your TT.
