The issue is threefold - bandwidth, side scrolling, and our dial-up users - yes Virginia, we still have dial-up users... Sometime down the road there is new forum software coming and I'm hoping that this is incorporated in the new software but for the time being the forum software used here is called "Cold Fusion" and is very antiquated and "patched" beyond belief as you can well imagine... RV.Net is not the only forum that is running on this platform... As you well know, AGI has a myriad of "tentacles" so changing forum software is not as easy it may seem because RV.Net is only a very small part of the overall system...
The other issue is that it IS the forum rule, and while I don't mind the occasional infraction to the rule, I spend a ton of time editing pictures on this forum and the 3 others I Moderate on RV.Net...
I agree that 640X480 is a bit antiquated BUT - it is the forum rule, so, with that in mind, I ask again for everyone's cooperation...
And no - I did not get up on the wrong side of the bed, and I would suggest that one think about posting remarks like that considering my sensitivity to this topic - - just sayin!!
Now - with all that said - let's get back to posting pictures - 640 x 480 max please...

People, people - how many times do I have to tell you that maximum photo size on RV.Net is 640X480 pixels and referenced HERE... I am spending way too much time editing picture sizes not only by the original poster, but by those of you who chose to copy the picture in your reply...
If this continues, I'll lock this thread down and we will be done with the picture thread... I have posted many, many, many, times asking for your cooperation with this with little success, and quite honestly, my patience has run out... If it continues, this thread gets locked!!!

Picked up our 23BHD this week to do a little prep work and sending it back. Its towed by the also new, Honda Pilot. It replaced the Honda Ody so we could buy the Visa 23BHD over the 19RSD. The Pilot tows far better than expected, and even more so for an SUV that gets a bad rap for towing. Sure, when its windy I know its back there, but I read that from everyone towing TT's.
Brakes are a complete non-issue and I found out why. The 23 has brakes on both axles. I didnt expect that! And power is plenty. The whole set up actually feels better than the Ody did pulling a 2200lb pop up or a 3600lb 3 place ATV trailer. Having that experience, I expect the difference is all due to the Equalizer E2.
I'll have more about the camper itself as the season begins. For now, the biggest issue is mounting the TV! LOL

I really like your trailers Charlie and Rust. Do you mind if I ask what you are pulling those trailers with? I have a 2001 Ram 1500 5.9ltr and am wondering how much larger could I go towing wise with my truck.
Thank you
Jim

Well, we got the trailer brakes on and working, flipped the axle, and got the clearance lights to working. I feel like it is Christmas morning. ๐
