so does ours but the key has to be outside the vehicle for it to work. I tried it with the wife sitting in the car with her key and it worked just fine. the new ones are a lot smarter than people give them credit for. Just try it put your spair key in the glove box, lock the truck and put the key you have in the house or 100 feet away or so and then try open your truck. I bet the newer fords wont open unless that key is fairly close and outside the vehicle, but you wont know till you try it.
heck even my house door lock that works on bluetooth and wifi can tell the difference between me being inside the house or outside when I try to unlock the door.
