Hole in floor :(

So.. I did something extremely stupid, and regret it, but now i have to fix it so enjoy your laughs, but if you have a serious answer, I'd love to hear it.

I put a 50 pounds tv ( older flatscreen ), on the top bunk of one of my bunks in the bunkhouse ( it's a full back room )... well.. while towing, it fell, corner hit the floor, tore a hole in it. It did not break the wood underneath, and it did not tear it to the wood, I can't see wood, i can just see the little platic sheet under the vinyl floor. Hole is no bigger than end of thumb, is their an easy way to fix this ? Costly, or otherwise, I'd really just like to get it corrected.

    How about a picture...?
    Maybe just cover it. Throw rug. Nice piece of wood or molding.

    fill it full of epoxy wood stuff from hardware store....

    A flooring store should be able to sell you a vinyl patching kit. Lacking that,I would search the internet for a vinyl patch kit.

    My daughter is asleep back their right now, so i can't go snap one. I was thinking worst case senario, fill it with some clear sealant, and throw a little rug over it, it's mostly just a room the kids go into sleep, and /or eat ( it has a table ).

    If i don't see wood, is it safe to say water / etc realy isn't a factor? It's not a heavily traffic site, not even a little bit, maybe gets footsteps on it twice a day.

    I found a few i liked, then wen't to amazon, found them again, read the reviews, and decided that's a HORRIBLE idea, at least, with the stuff I found. Was hoping some of you guys have done something as ignorant as me, and had to patch your own floors :)

    Vinyl can be patched pretty easily. Watch some video's on YouTube and then steal a piece big enough from underneath a drawer or someplace. Most of the time the floor isn't glued everywhere, just around the edges.

    What is horrible about it? Even new installations have seams put together with sealant/glue.
    Yea you do need to apply a little forgetaboutit after you are done.
    Nothing is new forever.

    I would be far more concerned about how you mount the tv after the floor is done.

    I think I wasn't clear, I didn't like them because of the reviews. Instructions weren't in English, missing parts , it looks like **** , etc

    Go to a vinyl flooring distributor. Buy some seam sealer, enough to fill the hole. Pour it in the hole and let harden. You'll never have another worry about the hole, the seam sealer is tougher than the vinyl.
