As I understand it, Ram offers airbag suspension for all four wheels. Anyone have this option. How does your truck ride empty. I'm considering a new reg cab 2500 work truck for 2018

I thought the four corner air was only on the 1500. 2500 have had rear air, however it is different than the 3500 rear air. Chris - azdryheatExplorerLike the big diesel motorhomes, I'd love to have air suspension on my truck. Bet it works great.

I think you are right. The Ram 2500 air suspension is rear only. The only complaints that I have heard are in extremely cold environments when moisture in the air freezes up. Its also only been out for a couple years, so we don't longevity established with this exact system yet.
If you aren't scared of technology and don't live in frigid environments, this should be a great option for you to consider. - Grit_dogNavigatorRear only and sounds like an expensive order only option for a plain work truck.
Seem to work good though, froma guy that posts on another forum. Has almost 300kmi on his 2500 with rear air pulling RV trailers hotshot. Claims no issues. Says it is good up to approx 4000lbs then it defaults and won't fill the bags. - IdaDExplorerI would stick with the springs. They ride and handle well and are simple. If you need to supplement them you can do it with aftermarket bags or timbrens. These trucks are complicated enough, no need to add extra where it isn't needed.

I put Timbrens on my '14 and they work great. I have a great solid feeling when hooked up to my 14,000lbs 5th wheel. I only towed a couple of times before I installed them so I don't have a good reference point to compare. I can tell you the rig rides level and no harsh ride with the Timbrens.
