Setting up - no more than 30 minutes - could be faster but we have a 7 year old that wants to help do everything. My husband has his set of chores and I have mine. Daughter wants to help both of us at the same time, thus we are looking at how to change things a bit. If we didn't have the interruptions, we can be done in about 18 minutes, including lawn chairs, BBQ and Mosquito tent.
Cleaning up - This is really hard as we will pre-pack almost everything the night before as we are usually on the road at 5am. It's more relaxed and allows us to make sure everything is stored well. All bikes travel inside, as our bottom bunk can be locked in the up position, so our mosquito tent, table, lawn chairs and bikes all ride in that space. The longest part is cleaning the black tank, which usually takes 20 minutes. During that time I will then have the lunches made, breakfast dishes cleaned/dried/stored, plus every surface wiped down, sanitized, plus the vacuuming done. Once husband has completed the black tank cleaning, I do a final once over with clorox wipes in the bathroom and to our rear doorway, due to black tank cleaning.
It's become a lot smoother and second nature the more we camp. The first trip of the year always seems to be the learning curve.
