Frenchman's Quarter RV Resort in New Orleans is in that realm price-wise and worth every dime. We parked, and never moved our truck for the 4 days we were there - we could walk to the French Quarter and everywhere we wanted to explore. And it was safe. Now that's worth the money spent simply in the money saved in parking in our book. Other than that, we usually prefer nat'l & state parks.
