I think this thread demonstrates the huge difference in height of complete rigs even in hardsides.
Interesting that some hardside setups are within a foot of some popup setups. Obviously, the truck which includes bed and 4x4, etc is a significant factor but there is also ac or not, the basement or not, and cabover height in the sleeping area.
It would be interesting to map the overall height to mpg just for grins and giggles, but the aerodynamic profile is dramatically different for the variety of rigs.
