How to install Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer? Help!!

I recently purchased the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer and it didn't come with installation instructions or directions on how to put it together. I've searched their site and all over the web for a manual or even a YouTube video of someone else putting it together, but so far, no good. Their customer service is only open weekdays, so I can't call them this weekend. Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Steve
  • I had them on my 04 Jayco for 2 years (different brand but same thing) and moved them to my 09 Passport, I won't have another TT without them. They lock the TT in place, with kids and a dog they are awsome, I did add 2 scissor jacks just in front of my tires and I have zero movement.

Only downside is the black tank does not get sloshed aroud to help prevent mounding, so on long trips when I have to use my waste tote I will unlock the stabilizers for a couple hrs and let things get shook up before dumping. My toilet dumps into the shallow end of holding tank so untill its half full no liquids under toilet.
Ultra fab brand. I also have 30" jacks.

  • Sorry I don't have any pics at the moment. I went to my local dealer so I could see them on the new Outbacks. They were only mounted at the rear of the trailer. After seeing it in person it really was much easier to figure out.
It took me an hour or two to put 4/6 on , the first one took the longest.
I haven't put the other two on because their location would make it really difficult to lock them in position. They were the ones that go side to side at the front of the trailer. The rest were installed without modifying the underbelly insulation.
The jacks seem to reduce motion but not eliminate it. They do make pitting the jacks up and down a little more difficult but not bad with a little guidance.
  • I have received a scanned copy of the Travel Trailer instructions, if anyone needs them please let me know.

    I also posted a copy here:Click Me.

  • Just received my JTs today and when I opened the box the manual states for 5th Wheel installation. The outside of the box clearly has travel trailer stamped on it. So either they only make the 1 manual or they put the wrong one in the box. :h

Also like the original posted stated customer support it M-F. Just wondering if someone here could inform me of the install on their NON 5th wheel.

I seems pretty straight forward on my trailer as I have cross member and I will be moving some of the insulated belly out of the way. I just don't want to be drilling into the frame at the wrong spot.

Any pics would solve a 1000 questions,

    Thanks,

    Chris

million dollar question do they work?

Definitely do. The trailer used to rock and roll when the washer went into spin mode. Much improved now. And eliminated most of the movement when someone is walking around.
  • I have them on my TT and while nothing completely eliminates movement with these and some X-chocks even my finicky wife is happy.
