23D Nash with slide-out. Has good ground clearance and departure angle. Will still be able to get into a lot of my favorite spots. But I'll have to post 'em in the boondocking forum!!

Can't speak for Idaho, but in Utah you can double tow bumper pulls. Nothing scarier than going down I-15 and seeing folks running 70-80 mph with a Chevy Suburban pulling a TT and a big flat bed trailer loaded with 6-8 ATV's pass you. 🙂

Learn something new every day I guess. Az, Il, Mi, Mn not allowed. The other states allow but there are rules about overall length, brakes, etc. On another site I checked they said Al did not allow. I recall being told not legal in Fl. I guess its a case of plan your route and know the rules in each state.

Tex; I don't believe you can double tow anywhere unless you have a 5th wheel setup. On a fifth a high percentage of wieght is on the hitch. On a normal bumper pull 10-15% is on the hitch. You add a hitch to the rear and you create a teeter totter effect. I don't know about the mountian west but east of Miss not allowed. I have seen it done but I don't think they got very far.
Sorry, but out of the 39+ states that allow RV doubles, ONLY 4 require the first to be a 5th wheel. All the rest allow bumper pull on the 1st hitch.

Now we will have a place to hang when the dust storms roll through Death Valley, next year.

Congrats!

I'm waiting for the ultimate TC build where DJ pulls off the running gear and adds six jacks to raise it on to a flat bed truck...

Nash doesn't make a toy hauler.
