My last trip was a couple of weeks ago.
We were going to the north rim of the Grand Canyon from Phoenix.
Left on a Thursday after getting off work at noon. We took the Arctic Cat 650 V2s and enough gear to put our gross about 24K. Hit I-17 northbound at 1PM with sun beating down for a nice toasty 113 degrees.
Ran 75-80 MPH where ever the limit was 75. Averaged about 5 over otherwise. Had a great 4 days up in the cool country and returned the same way. The Duramax Diesel performed like a champ on the hills at full throttle and the Michelin XPS Rib LT tires on the TT did the job I paid them to do. Averaged 9.4 MPG for the trip.
As usual, nothing went wrong.:B
