well I can only discuss the stretch from 17 to the 85 turn S of Richmond. I make at least two trips a month on that section. I drive 68 in the 65 zones and 70-71 in the 70 zones. yes every once in a while there is someone doing well over my speed but I rarely see anybody doing 90 (although I don't know how without a radar gun I would know the actual speed) , with the possible exception of a motorcycle. and yes, in the 70 mph stretches I might get up to 75 in the left lane if I am passing somebody but haven't gotten anybody "very angry" as yet, at least no obscene gestures have been made. ;)
