Because I was going back and forth a lot from home to the TT, I bike-chained my 8' fiberglass ladder to the rear bumper. Long story short, when I went to pull the trailer I heard a strange noise from the back. Ladders without wheels do not make good trailers. Fortunately, no damage to ladder or TT; my self esteem, not so much.

I'm sort of the same way. Last couple of years, I always do a walk around before moving. That is not because that is what we're supposed to do. It's because I've learned it's very expensive if you don't.:)
