I had them tie the tailgate lock actuator to the passenger door lock actuator, so two presses on the key fob would unlock it. It was a simple installation -- all they had to do was run the wires forward and splice them in.

Same here- had the dealer add a power tailgate lock actuator. It's really nice locking the tailgate with the rest of the locks. Especially on my 2012 where it was a hassle getting the real key out.
