Who are you folks using to insure your travel trailers? Mine is included with my autos via Geico. The premium on the autos is pretty good but the trailer premium seems awfully high.

I dropped State Farm for autos and travel trailer for GEICO. Pretty pleased, same coverage on vehicles for a lot less money. The travel trailer coverage ($438/year) was no contest. The GEICO RV coverage is superior to State Farm and includes coverage features State Farm doesn't even offer. I was paying State Farm nearly $600/year for what was nothing more than a somewhat stripped down automobile policy.

You could search this Forum for `insurance' and read the previous posts. We have Progressive.

Geico will boil you like a frog, slowly turning up the heat (premiums) until you're paying head and shoulders more than any other carrier will charge you, all things considered. Bottom-line; you must shop all the insurance companies to then be able to make a comparison to rationally do a premium analysis. USAA is another one that will fry you alive turning up your rates.

We went through someone our dealer recommended and ended up with Progressive. I think it's under $200 a year.
