IMHO, absolutely not! You said the door size and the cost to make that change was part of the deal.....therefore, the dealer is not holding up their end of this and they either get it done or refund the money. I would not let them off the hook on this....one of those times it's worth pitching a fit over, if necessary. Surely somewhere in the ADA is something that will give you leverage. If the dealer doesn't come through, call the manufacturer. Again. If push comes to shove, maybe the word "attorney" would get their attention. If you financed this unit, contact your lender and see if they can help out....they have a stake in this, too. The amount they financed included something that is not actually there, right?
If it turns out that the manufacturer has no way to accommodate you in good faith, then your money needs to be returned from somewhere. Don't let this be, it's worth the effort.
