A friend of mine decided to run for a County Commissioner position, which really messed up her plans to go bear hunting (yes, I said HER....LOL!). She won the election, which is awesome - so maybe she can get back up north to hunt next fall 🙂

I usually don't go out looking for bears as I have had enough of them from growing up in rural NW Montana. My parents place I grew up last before the going into the service we shot 8 of them in 7 years. They were doing property damage and the Fish & Game gave us permission to just shoot them. So we did and then gave a call to a neighbor to come and get them as they liked bear meat. I sure didn't like it, to greasy for me.
