It takes a village - Thank you

Good day. No question, just a big thank you story...
Last Sunday we took off for our granddaughter's made it about 100 miles and we broke down. Fortunately we were in a rest area N of Williams. Thank you to the CHP Officer Smoak who assisted us with Good Sam Emergency Road Side service and hooked us up with L & T towing. Thank you Walter for the professional assistance and tow to the garage.
We were fortunate that the mechanics team from Mid Valley Auto Care were available to work on our truck and in a couple of days we were able to move from the hotel to the rv park and the repairs on our truck were completed at the dodge dealership in Yuba City. If your in need of an overnight or two in Yuba City stop at the Good Sam Travel Home RV Park, small but very clean. After 5 nights the clutch was fixed and we drove home.
Our granddaughter's pig weighed in at 242' and she took 5th in her class. We missed the fair for some unknown reason, but in the end our village grew. Thank you it was an unanticipated adventure... Thanks for reading our post. West Beachhouse

Weaner? As in weaned off their mothers?

Yup, after being weened off their mothers they go into a nursery and onto a diet of feed with a lot of dried milk in it. After about 5-6 weeks in the nursery they then move on the finishing building where they live the rest of their lives. When they hit 240 pounds they go to the slaughter plant.
  • I'm glad it worked out for you.

Thank you for dealing with a bad day in a good way.

Congratulation to your granddaughter on her pig !! Got 500 wiener pigs here right now. The move out to the next building on Friday.
