Good point about being able to leave them open when you leave the unit for while if there is a chance of rain. 67avion has a point though about the lack of issues with the sliders compared to the jalousies. I am leaning towards the unit with the sliders and spending a little money on a good MaxAir cover for the fantastic fan. Thanks everyone for the feedback!
