The Fantastic Fan needs a place to draw air from, to do a good job. Granted, most TCs have a window under the overhang which can be open even in heavy rain... but I LOVE my jalousy windows! Ventilation is the key to keeping your TC from "raining on the inside".
And in the FWIW category: we DID endure a storm in our former Class C with sliding windows, where the wind blew the rain right through the closed windows. They aren't perfect, either....
