I was considering this unit to replace the original radio in my 1999 Jayco. If these are no good what are the alternatives? I don't want a car radio as I want easy to change zones on the unit like an RV radio has. Also want a DVD player to out put to the TV.
You can usually change the speakers by the balance or fade function. Lots of them have dvd players built in.
I purchased a cheap Sony dvd player, I think it was about $60. It has an external 12v power supply so I converted it to run on 12v. Now my entire tv/blue-ray system is 12v and I don't use the installed unit at all. I can now also play my blu-rays.

I copied this from a forum:
I represent ASA Electronics, the producer of the JENSEN brand of televisions, stereos, and speakers and the Voyager brand of observation monitors and cameras. At ASA, we strive to provide excellent customer service and product satisfaction and would like to offer some assistance in this matter.
I would like to first verify that the Alarm is not set and causing the stereo to turn on. If the Alarm is set, the word ALARM would be shown on the display. Second, I would like you to try and reset the AWM970. There is a small reset button located just above the Dolby Digital symbol at the bottom left hand corner of the faceplate. Take a pen or paper clip and gently press the reset button for about 5 seconds then release.
If the trouble persists, you or your dealer should call us for further troubleshooting. You can reach us on our toll free technical support line at (877) 845-8750. We are available M-F 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM EDT.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

My Jenson in my 2008 Lance worked flawlessly until a few months ago, and it is doing the same thing yours does. It just turns on by itself whenever it wants. I left it AUX mode so it would just sit there when it turns on instead of cycling the DVD or playing the radio. I was going to buy a newer one but bought a 12V TV/DVD LED combo and disconnected the power to the Jensen. However, I can't run the (2) camper speakers anymore with just the TV/DVD combo.

I pulled my Jensen out and Installed a double din unit. I had a local sign company make a plastic piece with the white line around it to match the other one. Looks factory...plays DVD's and has Pandora. Now the factory speakers are having issues with the new wattage.
